Hi, I am dovie from OLS- I really like your blog. Kids are precious! I love dandelions myself, they are so tenacious and remind me that I too can get through anything life throws at me and thrive on top of it. Plus, they are like little balls of sunshine, and you can make tons of wishes. What more can you ask for? LOL
Great job, keep it up- I'll be back to explore more when I have a bit more time.

Life is good. I too, often think of the miracle of running HOT & COLD water and the flip of a switch bringing electricity in the form of light or television or music. We are definitely a blessed nation. Our problems or so small especially when we start counting our blessings.

Thank you for this great post! You really struck a chord. In our home we talk a lot about the richness of our lives...a while ago (2 years or so) our son asked us if we were rich, and I said "yes". He then asked for some expensive thing, since his brother said he couldn't get it cuz we aren't rich (brother is 13 years older than him). I told him we have enough money to take care of us, but that we are truly rich in love. Now he regularly says that, telling his mates from school. It's a joy.

Your girls will appreciate the values and secure home that you are providing even though they are too young to verbalize it.
When my two girls went to university, they realized that not everyone had a home with two parents, wholesome cooked food, safe environment etc.
They do a lot of volunteering too and are good citizens.
They also have happy memories of times spent gardening, baking cookies, story times and vacations. They don't remember the teen years!

My husband is starting to be a Math teacher, but he has to work 4 hours a day summer school, then go back to college to get certified. When done with that, I hope he can stay home more. Cute girls, enjoy them now, they grow so fast.

That is one cute picture! How nice that you're both able to stay home with your girls during the summer. That would be bliss. Our family lives for the vacation days Daddy gets. They are far and few between.

I almost feel guilty for starting college this fall. It was nice to always be available to help out the kids whenever they needed it at school.
